Worried we would be just south of the line of winter weather that was to move through, we didn't get our hopes up to see much snow from this storm. I say worried, because we only see snow once, maybe twice, each year and even then it usually melts by noon that day. But this time was different- it started snowing late Friday afternoon, then alternated between snow/sleet/freezing rain "wintry mix" through the night and through Saturday afternoon. We did take a good walk once things settled down on Saturday with Edy but it was still very overcast, windy, and the temperature was falling down into the teens. Here are some pictures from this morning of Edy and I just strolling outside and enjoying the sun shining, even if it was barely 20 degrees.
Too bad I don't own a pair of ice skates! Our parking area would make a nice rink.

Dixie enjoyed the snow too! We spent most of our time watching movies, a little walking in it.
