It's a little late, but Happy 2009! Hopefully everyone had a happy and fun celebration ringing in the New Year. Will came up to Charlotte with us to see The Avett Brothers at Belk Theatre on New Year's Eve. The concert was great- they stopped and counted down the new year at midnight, and then kept playing for another hour or so. It was a fun evening!
On New Year's Day we went down to Spartanburg to eat peas and collards with The Cannons, and to watch the college bowl games. Lunch was great, but football didn't turn out so great. We also got to see pictures from their trip to Africa to visit Katie C. and it was neat hearing their stories.
