Time Flies...

So where to start? The months of May and June were pretty busy for us! After our beach trip, some of the highlights include the following:
  • Bark in the Park at the Charlotte Knights baseball game
  • Katie C. came home from Mali for a month before going to China
  • Favorite concerts including Holy Ghost Tent Revival in Charlotte and Toubab Krewe in Greenville

  • Sunday evenings spent at Symphony in the Park with friends Deric, Kristie, baby Stella, and Ben

We have plans to spend July 4th weekend in Sharon, SC with more Clemson folk! Jenny and Travis recently moved to their new house (with a pool) so we'll be partaking in July 4th festivities with them and other friends! Later in the month we are planning on going to a music festival in Virginia and that should be lots of fun.
Our jobs are both going well right now- Jamie is still working on getting checked out, but he actually talks to planes every day! I am still doing my 2 contract jobs at the botanical garden (teaching summer camps) and doing some landscape designs.
The garden is changing every day. We had a great crop of green beans, but they have since finished. We are expecting okra and tomatoes soon! We've had a few jalepenos and are also hoping for some bell peppers. We had a bird nest in our honeysuckle vine- we peeked in and saw them, not to mention we could hear them chirping. Edy kept herself busy for a while trying to look for them, but we think they have since moved.
So there is our update for now- I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!
